Good morning or good afternoon or good evening!
Thank you for considering becoming a member of SWD, we would like to take this opportunity to explain briefly our purpose. Perhaps you know something of us from media etc., but we would like to explain to you if you have time.
Our purpose: Yes we go sailing, lots of sailing. Soft quiet sailing, and hard tough dangerous sailing. We have 3 boats to do this on and we are doing it 7 days a week, that’s our platform but it is not, I repeat, it is not what we are about.
SWD is about giving people the opportunity to consider themselves in a new light and to consider the possibility whether you are disabled or disadvantaged of what the future holds for you. In short we need you to help us create optimism where it does not exist. We need your passion, enthusiasm and skills to help us achieve these outcomes.
Membership is mandatory prior to undertaking any SWD activity on or off water
